Free School Screening, Spectacles and Surgeries

ZMT Clinic Network provide free eye test and screening for schools in Karachi, we have multiple teams include specialist doctors visiting schools providing free eye test and screening.

We provide free spectacles for children.

Key Points:

• Through ZMT school eye screening program we examine eye sight of children at their school /religion institute (madaris).
• At present ZMT have 3 school eye screening teams inclusive 1 Female team.
• All the students are provided FREE medicines and FREE spectacles.
• If any child required details checkup we refer him/her to ZMT eye clinic.
• ZMT also refer eye patients for surgeries and medical intervention at tertiary hospital with which we have made arrangement to treat our refer eye patients absolutely free.
• More than 233,698 eye services provided through school eye screening program so far.
• More than 25,238 free spectacles provided so far.
• More than 2,404 eye and general surgeries so far provided at different tertiary hospitals free of cost. 
• ZMT Clinic Network has started school eye screening program to examine the eyesight of children studying in private schools, government schools and religious institutes (Madaris).
• ZMT school eye screening program was started in 2010 with one team. At present ZMT Eye Program have three teams to do eye screening for underprivileged children in schools & madaris of Karachi.
• One of our team is female team which is specially developed for those institutes where male are not allowed to work, mainly in female schools and in female madaris religious institutes. The team consists of optometrist, ophthalmic technician and driver.
